  1. What do the numbers in people's signatures mean?

    The first number is the person's starting weight, the second number is their current weight, and the third number is their goal weight.

    Often, people will add intermediate numbers as "mini-goals." This way they concentrate on losing just the next 5 pounds, or the next 1 pound.

  2. How do I set up a signature?

    If you use Outlook Express (from Outlook Express Help):
    On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Signatures tab.

    To create a signature, click the New button and then either enter text in the Edit Signature box or click File, and then find the text or HTML file you'd like to use.

    Select the Add signatures to all outgoing messages check box.

  6. Where can I find out about weight loss surgery, prescription drugs, herbal, etc.?

    ASDWW is not the appropriate place for such discussions. This newsgroup is about the Weight Watchers way of reaching and maintain a goal weight. While we welcome participants who are not on the Weight Watchers program, discussions about other methods of weight loss belong in alt.support.diet, alt.support.diet.rx or another appropriate newsgroup.
